holy jeebus it's been a while since i've posted here.

so i've moved twice since the picture below was taken, and even though the studio and [a#t] is still a project, it really has taken a back seat to grad school and other stuff...

not to worry though, as a major update is going to be coming soon...

just wait...

my friends rule

talkdemonic, the project headed by my friend kevin o'connor, was selected by willamette week as portland's best new band of 2005. of course i could have told you this six years ago, but seriously, kevin is one of the most amazing musical talents and hotel room wrestlers i've ever met.

check out this from talkdemonic's first release, "mutinysunshine", out on lucky madison records:

talkdemonic - "final russian"

speaking of friends and talkdemonic, another former kzuu alum, jon dobrowolski (who owns and runs the thisgenerationtapes label) will be releasing a limited edition cassette version of "mutinysunshine" very soon.

a hard drive is good to find.

so it's been awhile since i've done a new [advanced number theory] track. almost two years in fact. while i've been playing acoustic shows and dj'ing, and most recently - starting up a new group - my poor little [a#t] has been sorely neglected. so, as a celebration of starting this new site up, here's a little snippet of some brand new stuff.

[advanced number theory] - "pink noise is the new white noise/quietly alone" - live in the greenhouse - 2.28.05

and so we begin.

this will be the new site for all of my musical projects. some digital. some analog. some old. some new. feel free to share these tunes with anyone - just drop me an email if you happen to like it, alright?
